Meet at Ding Dong Mine, an extensive warren of iron ore workings deep under Lindal Moor. Severe rating due to the challenging entrance pitch and a lot of uneven/unstable ground through the workings – for fully SRT competent attendees only. Dave McDougle will lead an exploration of the near reaches of the Ding Dong (B45) workings, including the Lindal and Marton chambers, and look at the flooded 67 yard level which leads into the further workings. Parking available in Marton village which will be communicated to attendees nearer the time.
